Built for Gold Coast Living
Extreme UV. Summer storms. Subtropical humidity. Handled.
Summers here hit 28°C with UV levels reaching an extreme 15—among the highest in Australia. That's six months of comfortable swimming from November to April, and year-round with a heat pump.
But extreme UV and a wet season from December to March (February alone sees 180mm+) demand materials that last:
- Extreme UV-resistant gelcoat rated for Gold Coast's extreme 15 summer UV index
- Storm-season drainage engineered for intense afternoon thunderstorms
- Humidity-resistant surfaces that won't degrade in subtropical coastal condition
Real Family. Real Backyard. Real Savings.

Your Questions, Answered
How long does council approval take?
Queensland doesn't use CDCs like NSW. You'll need a Building Approval from a licensed private certifier—often issued within 24 hours to a few days with complete documentation. Most Gold Coast residential pools don't need a Development Application unless your property has specific overlays.
When's the best time to install?
July to September is ideal—the driest period with just 42–45mm of rainfall and mild temperatures perfect for excavation. April to June and October also work well. Avoid December to March when wet season storms can waterlog sites and delay work.
Can I legally install it myself?
Yes. In Queensland, work over $11,000 requires a QBCC Owner Builder Permit. We provide step-by-step guides and phone support throughout your project.
