Engineered for Fraser Coast Conditions
30°C summers. Extreme UV. Wet season downpours. Ready.
Summers here hit 30°C with UV levels reaching an extreme 11–15. That's seven months of comfortable swimming from October to April—and year-round with a heat pump.
But extreme UV and a wet season from December to March (March alone dumps 148mm) demand materials built for coastal Queensland:
- Extreme UV-resistant gelcoat rated for Hervey Bay's year-round high UV exposurex
- Wet-season drainage engineered for concentrated summer rainfall and afternoon storms
- Coastal-grade surfaces built to handle the bay-side salt air without fading or pitting
Real Family. Real Backyard. Real Savings.

Your Questions, Answered
How long does council approval take?
Queensland doesn't use CDCs like NSW. You'll need a Building Approval from a licensed private certifier—Fraser Coast Regional Council ceased dedicated building certification in 2015. Private certifiers typically process approvals within days to weeks depending on documentation.
When's the best time to install?
May to October. July through September is ideal—the driest months with just 34–50mm of rainfall versus 148mm in March. Ground conditions are stable, and your pool is ready for summer.
Can I legally install it myself?
Yes. In Queensland, work over $11,000 requires a QBCC Owner Builder Permit. We provide step-by-step guides and phone support throughout your project.
