Quarterback It or Call in the Crew?
We supply fibreglass pool kits built for Melbourne conditions—from the tree-lined blocks of Essendon to the family streets of Pascoe Vale and the generous properties of Macleod.
Two ways to get there:
- Coordinate it yourself - manage the trades and keep up to $40,000
- Kit + licensed installer - we connect you with a certified pro, you still save up to $20,000
Both routes skip the all-in-one pool company markup. Same quality pool. More left for heating—which turns six months of swimming into twelve.
Engineered for Melbourne's Climate
Variable weather. Extreme summer UV. Four seasons in one day. Ready.
Summers here hit 25–26°C with UV levels reaching an extreme 12–14 in peak season. That's six to seven months of comfortable swimming from October to April—and year-round with a heat pump.
Melbourne's variable climate—where rainfall is spread year-round rather than concentrated in a wet season—demands materials built for the conditions:
- Extreme UV-resistant gelcoat rated for Melbourne's extreme summer UV exposure
- Year-round drainage engineered for Melbourne's evenly distributed rainfall
- Temperature-stable construction that handles Melbourne's rapid weather changes
Real Family. Real Backyard. Real Savings.

Your Questions, Answered
How long does council approval take?
Victoria uses Building Permits—different from NSW's CDC system or Queensland's private certifier pathway. You'll need a Building Permit for any pool over 300mm depth, plus compliant safety barriers. A Planning Permit may also be required depending on your property—check with your local council first. Private building surveyors typically process permits within days to weeks.
When's the best time to install?
October to March. January and February are ideal—Melbourne's driest months with just 47–48mm of rainfall. Avoid May to September when winter rains saturate the ground and make excavation difficult.
Can I legally install it myself?
Yes, though work over $10,000 requires a registered builder for the construction. We provide step-by-step guides and connect you with licensed professionals for the regulated components.
