Lead the Project or Leave It to a Pro?
We supply fibreglass pool kits built for Sydney's north—from the leafy blocks of Wahroonga to the spacious properties of St Ives and the family-friendly streets of Frenchs Forest.
Here's how it works:
- Coordinate it yoursel — manage the trades and keep up to $40,000
- Kit + licensed installer — we connect you with a certified pro, you still save up to $20,000
Both routes cut out the retail markup. Same quality pool. Thousands back in your pocket.
Engineered for Coastal Conditions
Extreme UV. Year-round sun. Built to last.
Summers here average 26°C, with UV regularly hitting 13–14. That's four to five months of comfortable swimming without heating—and year-round with a heat pump.
But extreme UV and Sydney's unpredictable wet spells demand the right materials:
- UV-stabilised gelcoat rated for Northern Sydney's extreme summer UV index
- Salt-air resistant surfaces built for coastal and near-coastal conditions
- All-weather drainage designed to handle March and June downpours
Real Family. Real Backyard. Real Savings.

Your Questions, Answered
How long does council approval take?
Northern Sydney spans several councils (Ku-ring-gai, Northern Beaches, Willoughby, Lane Cove, North Sydney), but most standard pools qualify for a Complying Development Certificate (CDC)—typically 10–20 business days. Note: many properties in this area have heritage overlays or bushfire ratings that may require a full DA. We can help you work out which pathway applies.
When's the best time to install?
August to November. September and October are the driest months (under 80mm), temperatures are comfortable for the trades, and your pool is ready for peak summer. Avoid March and June—they're the wettest months.
Can I legally install it myself?
Yes. In NSW, an owner-builder permit is required when coordinating two or more contractors on work over $10,000. We provide step-by-step guides and phone support throughout your project.
