Drive the Project or Ride Along?
We supply fibreglass pool kits built for Central Tablelands conditions—from the new family estates of Shiralee to the established streets of Bletchington and the prestigious blocks of Poplars Estate.
Two ways to get there:
- Coordinate it yourself - manage the trades and keep up to $40,000
- Kit + licensed installer - we connect you with a certified pro, you still save up to $20,000
Both routes skip the all-in-one pool company markup. Same quality pool. More left for heating—which you'll want up here.
Built for Tablelands Conditions
Warm days. Cool nights. Elevation challenges. Sorted.
Summers here average 25°C, but overnight lows drop to 11–13°C even in January. That's three to four months of comfortable swimming without heating—and up to nine months with a heat pump or gas system. At this elevation, heating isn't optional—it's how you get real value from your pool.
But Orange's unique conditions—clay soils, frost risk, and elevation—demand the right build:
- Frost-tolerant shell construction engineered for cold Tablelands winters
- UV-stabilised gelcoat rated for Orange's high summer UV index
- Clay-soil compatible design built to handle expanding and contracting ground
Real Family. Real Backyard. Real Savings.

Your Questions, Answered
How long does council approval take?
Most Orange properties qualify for a Complying Development Certificate (CDC)—typically around 20 days. Properties with heritage listings, flood overlays, or bushfire ratings (BAL-40+) may require a full DA. Grab a Section 10.7 Planning Certificate first to confirm your eligibility.
When's the best time to install?
March to May. Autumn is Orange's driest window—April and May see just 55–67mm of rainfall—and ground conditions are stable before frost season hits. Avoid June–July (wettest months, frost risk) and November–January (summer storms, peak demand).
Can I legally install it myself?
Yes. In NSW, an owner-builder permit is required when coordinating two or more contractors on work over $10,000. We provide step-by-step guides and phone support throughout your project.
