How long does council approval take?

Southern Sydney spans Sutherland Shire, Georges River, and Canterbury-Bankstown councils. Most standard pools qualify for a Complying Development Certificate (CDC)—typically 7–20 days depending on the council or private certifier. Full DAs take significantly longer, so CDC is the way to go where possible.

When's the best time to install?

April to May or September to October. These windows avoid the wettest months (February, March, June) and give you stable ground conditions. A spring install means you're swimming by November.

Can I legally install it myself?

Yes. In NSW, an owner-builder permit is required when coordinating two or more contractors on work over $10,000. We provide step-by-step guides and phone support throughout your project.
