Made for the Darling Downs
Milder summers. Extreme UV. Cooler winters. Handled.
Summers here average 27–28°C—noticeably cooler than coastal Queensland thanks to the elevation. That's four to five months of comfortable swimming without heating, and year-round with a heat pump.
But extreme UV (hitting 16 in summer—among Australia's highest) and cooler winters demand the right build:
- Extreme UV-resistant gelcoat rated for Toowoomba's extreme 15–16 summer UV index
- Heat-retention design that works with your heating system to extend the season
- Frost-tolerant construction built to handle occasional overnight cold snaps
Real Family. Real Backyard. Real Savings.

Your Questions, Answered
How long does council approval take?
Queensland doesn't use CDCs like NSW. You'll need a Building Approval from a licensed private certifier—often issued within 24–48 hours for straightforward applications. Most Toowoomba residential pools don't need a separate Development Application.
When's the best time to install?
April to May or August to September. These windows offer the driest conditions with moderate temperatures. Avoid December to March when the wet season peaks, and June to July when overnight temperatures occasionally dip near frost.
Can I legally install it myself?
Yes. In Queensland, work over $11,000 requires a QBCC Owner Builder Permit. We provide step-by-step guides and phone support throughout your project.
