Need a fibreglass pool installer in NSW? We can help
You choose who installs your pool. Engage an independent licensed installer, or install it yourself under an NSW owner-builder permit and save even more. If you don't have an installer in mind, our team can connect you with an experienced local installer. Find out about pool installation
Getting your pool approved in NSW
Every pool or spa in NSW that can hold more than 300mm of water needs approval and a compliant safety barrier. There are two approval routes:
- Complying Development Certificate (CDC): usually the quicker, cheaper option if your site meets the standard criteria.
- Development Application (DA): needed when your site doesn't meet CDC criteria, for example because of soil conditions. DAs take longer, so plan ahead.
Once your pool is finished, it must be registered on the NSW Swimming Pool Register. Every Swimming Pool Kits Direct kit includes the engineering drawings for your application. Read our step-by-step NSW pool registration guide.
