Do I need council approval in QLD?

No Development Application is required — Victoria doesn't have that process. Every pool capable of holding water deeper than 300mm requires a Building Permit from a registered building surveyor. A Planning Permit is only required if your property sits under a specific overlay: flood overlays (LSIO or Floodway), Environmental Significance, or Significant Landscape overlays are the main triggers. A Heritage Overlay only requires a Planning Permit if the pool would be visible from a street or public park. Check your overlays at planning.vic.gov.au before proceeding.

How does delivery work?

Pools are manufactured at our Coolum Beach facility and delivered to all regions across Queensland. Because pools arrive fully assembled via heavy haulage, you'll need to arrange a local crane operator to lift the shell from the transport truck onto your prepared slab.
